HULETTS WHITE & BROWN SWEET CHOICE COMPETITION NOTICE

’STAND A CHANCE TO WIN A GROCERY VOUCHER OR FASHION VOUCHER’

  1. The promoter of this competition is Tongaat Hulett Sugar South Africa Ltd.
  2. This competition starts on 24 July 2017 and closes on 18 September 2017. No late entries will be accepted.
  3. The competition is open to all South African residents who are 18 years and older.
  4. No director, employee, agent or consultant of Tongaat Hulett Sugar South Africa Ltd, or their spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members, or the supplier of goods and services in connection with this competition may participate in this competition.
  5. To enter this competition participants must purchase any pack of Huletts White Sugar or SunSweet Brown Sugar, dial *120*10000# from his/her cell phone, accepting that the initial access costs 20c per 20 seconds and is billed for a minimum of 40 seconds. A reply message will be sent back to his/her cell phone requesting him/her to enter the last 4 digits of the barcode found on the back of his/her Huletts White Sugar or SunSweet Brown Sugar pack. The participant to reply with the last 4 digits of the barcode.
  6. Please retain your till slip or pack of sugar as proof of purchase.
  7. Multiple entries are permitted, but a participant can only win once in this competition.
  8. Five winners will be selected randomly via computer every week, for 8 weeks (31 July, 7 August, 14 August, 21 August, 28 August, 4 September, 11 September & 18 September). There will be 40 (forty) winners selected in total, each winning a R5000 Grocery voucher OR Fashion voucher.
  9. Each winner will have a choice between a grocery voucher OR a fashion voucher each worth R5000. The winner can also decide which retailer or mall they would like to use the voucher at. The promotions agency will arrange each voucher accordingly.
  10. Winners will be notified telephonically with seventy-two (72) hours of the selection having taken place.
  11. In the event that the winners cannot be successfully contacted following all reasonable attempts to do so, the promoter reserves the right to select another winner in substitution.
  12. The winners selection will be done by means of a random draw. The name of the prize winner will be posted on the Huletts Sugar website.
  13. The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash regardless of the estimated monetary or other value of the prize.
  14. By entering this competition (by submission of a response or otherwise), each entrant acknowledges that he/she has read and understood the rules applicable to this competition (which can be found http://www.hulettssugar.co.za/general_competition_rules), and agrees to be bound thereby. In particular, the entrant is reminded that all tips and other responses submitted in this competition become the property of Tongaat Hulett Sugar upon submission, and, may be used by Tongaat Hulett Sugar in advertising and/or promotional media (or for any other purpose).
  15. Participants who entered ANY Huletts Sugar competition and have won any prizes in the last 3 (three) months, from the last day of the competition ending, will not be eligible to win again and will be disqualified from the competition.
  16. The promoter is not liable for the failure of any technical element relating to this promotional competition that may result in an entry not being successfully submitted.
  17. Entries which are unclear, illegible or contain errors will be declared invalid.
  18. The winners must identify themselves by means of an ID document or other acceptable identification means and confirm receipt of their prize, which identification and confirmation shall be to the satisfaction of the promoter. Any prize not taken up for any reason within one month of the close of the competition will be forfeited.

  21. The judges’ decision will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
