Huletts Icing Sugar

This is a finely powdered, white granulated sugar that has an anti-caking ingredient added. It is mostly used to make various types of icing (for decorating baked goods) but is also used for sweetening whipped cream, for making smooth, creamy desserts or in recipes that require a very fine crumb texture.
Additionally, it can be used for Sugar Art or for very simple decoration like sprinkling over sponge cakes.

Storage Requirements:

Store in an airtight container. If sugar goes lumpy, leave overnight in a bowl covered with a damp cloth.
 

Huletts Castor Sugar

These fine, quick dissolving sugar crystals are ideal for use in baking and for making ice-cream, meringues and desserts. Huletts Castor sugar is also ideal for sprinkling over fresh fruit.

Huletts Yellow Sugar

Huletts Yellow Sugar is used in baking, in preserves such as jams, pickles and chutneys, and in home-brewed beers and ginger beer to enhance colour. Huletts Yellow sugar adds colour to microwave baking.

This yellow sugar is Huletts SunSweet Sugar (raw sugar) with permitted colouring added.

Huletts Fructose

Huletts Fructose offers pure, concentrated sweetness with a low-GI benefit.

Huletts Fructose is derived from fruits (especially tree fruits, berries and melons), some vegetables such as sweet potatoes and parsnips, honey, and many other plants, including sugar cane. It is an important source of energy for the body. Fructose is up to 1.5 times sweeter than table sugar (sucrose), which means you use less of it to achieve the same sweetness as sugar, and therefore reduce your kilojoule intake. Huletts Fructose produces superior baking results and it improves the colour of baked goods.

Huletts Treacle Sugar

Huletts Treacle Sugar is a great flavour and colour enhancer. This soft, sticky sugar keeps fruit cakes and dark loaves moist and is also perfect for microwave baking and meat marinades. Huletts Treacle Sugar is a good substitute for Muscovado Sugar.

Huletts Treacle sugar (previously known as soft brown sugar) is Huletts SunSweet Sugar (raw sugar) with added caramel and invert syrup.

Huletts Caramel Sugar

Huletts Caramel Sugar is ideal for sprinkling over porridge and cereals and adds a delicious flavour to coffee. It can also replace white sugar in all microwave cooking to improve colour and is perfect for biscuits, cakes and loaves, as well as any recipe calling for fruit in the mixture. Huletts Caramel Sugar is a good substitute for Demerara Sugar.

This medium brown sugar is Huletts SunSweet Sugar (raw sugar) coated with caramel colourant.
