The South African Chefs Association and Huletts are proud to announce a brand new competition to add to the culinary calendar – the Huletts Sweet Young Chef Competition.

Submit one original recipe and photograph of an innovative dish that utlises one or more of the products in the Huletts range. Please be sure to indicate exactly which Huletts product you will be using in your recipe. This recipe needs to be a unique, creative expression of the endless possibilities of sugar, and it can be a starter, main course, dessert, celebration bake or tea time treat. To enter the competition, you will need to email your recipe and photograph, along with your contact details and the name of the culinary school that you attend, or the workplace where you are employed. Please send your email to with the subject line: HULETTS SWEET YOUNG CHEF.
