Peanut Butter & Caramel Sauce
Ingredients125 g Butter
250 ml (1 cup) Huletts SunSweet Brown Sugar
1 tin Sweetened Condensed Milk
60 ml ( ¼ cup) Sour Cream
80 ml Cream OR Milk
60 ml ( ¼ cup) Smooth Peanut Butter
- Melt the butter in a medium saucepan, then stir in the sugar and condensed milk. Stir over a moderate heat, without boiling, until the sugar is dissolved. Stir over a high heat for about 5 minutes or until the mixture is golden brown. Remove from the heat and allow the bubbles to subside.
- Gradually stir in the cream and peanut butter, then allow to cool. Refrigerate before using.
Serving Suggestions: Serve with vanilla ice cream, or with a chocolate cake or pudding.
