Brownie Mix

Makes 24 brownies

400 g (500ml) Huletts White Sugar
180 ml cocoa
125 ml chopped pecans
125 ml chocolate chips
210 ml cake flour
5 ml baking powder
2 ml salt

Method: 

Method

  1. Pour sugar into a clean one litre jar with lid. Press down firmly.
  2. Add cocoa powder and press down firmly.
  3. Pour in chopped pecans, making sure pecans are evenly layered in the jar, then pour in chocolate chips.
  4. Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Pour into jar and seal.

ATTACH THE FOLLOWING METHOD TO THE JAR:



  1. Preheat oven to 180ºC.
  2. Empty mixture into a large bowl and mix thoroughly.
  3. Add 180g butter (room temperature) and 4 ex large eggs - beaten
  4. Using a spoon mix until completely blended.
  5. Spread batter into a 22cm x 32cm greased pan.
  6. Bake for 25 -30 minutes or until set.
  7. Cool in pan and cut into 24 squares
