Caramelised Popcorn



150g Huletts White Sugar
300g (375ml) Huletts Golden Syrup

12,5g butter
12 cups plain unflavoured popcorn



  1. Heat the first three ingredients together in a heavy bottomed pot over low heat. Stir continuously until the sugar has dissolved.
  2. Increase heat to medium. Boil until soft crack stage 143ºC.
  3. Remove from stove, pour over popcorn and stir through well.
  4. Turn out on large baking sheet and leave to cool. Separate popcorn.
  5. Allow to cool and store immediately.
