Chocolate Cake in a Mug



60ml Self-raising flour
50g (60ml) Huletts White Sugar
30ml Cocoa
45ml Chocolate chips
1 Extra-large egg
45ml Milk
45ml Canola oil
Huletts Icing Sugar for dusting



  1. Place the dry ingredients (including the chocolate chips) in a large coffee cup and stir to combine.
  2. In a separate cup beat the egg and milk together. Add the oil and mix well.
  3. Add the milk mixture to the dry ingredients, gently mix to ensure that all the dry ingredients are incorporated.
  4. Place your mug in the microwave set on full power and cook for three minutes.
  5. The cake will rise and run over the top of the mug, but don’t be alarmed! Allow to cool a little before tipping onto a plate if desired.
  6. Dust with icing sugar to serve.
