Sugar Hearts

A Stylish way to sweeten your coffee or tea!



105g (125ml) Huletts Castor Sugar
food colouring of your choice



  1. Place the castor sugar, ± 5 ml water (Do not add too much water. The sugar must just be moist) and a drop of food colouring into a food processor. Pulse until well mixed.

Step 1

Place the moist castor sugar onto a cutting board and press down to the thickness of about 1 cm.
Step 2

Cut out heart shapes with cookie cutter.
Step 3

Lift out hearts. Press the remaining sugar together. Cut out until all the sugar has been used. Pack into airtight containers and leave to dry overnight.

Note: Work quickly as the sugar tends to dry out.
