Peanut Butter & Caramel Sauce



125g Butter
250ml (1 cup) Huletts SunSweet Brown Sugar
1 tin Sweetened Condensed Milk
60ml ( ¼ cup) Sour Cream
80ml Cream OR Milk
60ml ( ¼ cup) Smooth Peanut Butter



  1. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan, then stir in the sugar and condensed milk. Stir over a moderate heat, without boiling, until the sugar is dissolved. Stir over a high heat for about 5 minutes or until the mixture is golden brown. Remove from the heat and allow the bubbles to subside.
  2. Gradually stir in the cream and peanut butter, then allow to cool. Refrigerate before using.

Serving Suggestions: Serve with vanilla ice cream, or with a chocolate cake or pudding.
