Creamy Salad Dressing

Makes ± 600ml



30ml (2T) vinegar
2 extra large eggs
50 g (60ml) Huletts White Sugar
Salt & pepper to taste
20ml (4t) mustard powder
500ml (2C) fresh cream



  1. Beat vinegar, eggs, sugar, salt, pepper and mustard powder together. Stir in cream.
  2. Over medium heat, slowly bring to the boil, stirring continuously until mixture thickens.
  3. Leave to cool. Bottle and seal.

Hint: This homemade dressing is delicious on green salads, potato salad and coleslaw. Add extra mustard powder for a tangier sauce that can also be served with cold meats.
