Homemade Tomato Sauce
Makes ± 4 x 250g jars
1 large onion, finely chopped
- Sauté onion and garlic gently in oil until onion is soft and transparent.
- Add remaining ingredients. Simmer, partly covered, for 45 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Add a little more water if needed.
- Store, covered, in refrigerator or freezer.
