Banana Breakfast Mug Cake

Make this delicious Breakfast Mug Cake because it’s easy, fun, sticky and scrumptious! Just remember to clean up afterwards!

Ingredients

  • ½ banana, mashed
  • 15 ml sunflower oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 15 ml low fat milk
  • 45 ml Huletts Maple Syrup
  • 60 ml self-raising wheat flour
  • A pinch of Cinnamon
  • 2 ml salt
  • 15 ml nuts, chopped (optional)
  • 15 ml raisins (optional)
  • 1 Large Coffee Mug
  • Huletts Syrup to serve

Method

  1. Add the banana, oil, egg and milk to your mug. Mix well with a fork.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients and mix until smooth using a teaspoon or fork.
  3. Microwave on high for 2 – 3 minutes until cake has risen up out of the mug. Ask your mum for help taking it out of the microwave as it will be very hot.
  4. Eat while still lovely and warm with extra syrup Yum Yum!
