Carrot, Ginger & Lime Juice

SERVES 1

Ingredients

  • 250 ml (1 cup) carrot juice (buy ready-made if you don’t have a juicer)
  • 1 Sachet Huletts EquiSweet of your choice
  • 30 ml (2 T) fresh ginger, grated
  • 30 ml (2 T) fresh lime juice

Method

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a blender and blitz until well combined.
  2. Add a splash of water, if needed.
  3. Serve immediately.

Nutritional information:

  1. Serves 1 - One serving of one glass is equivalent to 1.5 - 2 portions fruit.
  2. GI (calculated) = 43 (low GI) and GL per serving of 1 glass = 10 – 13.
  3. Nutritional info (for the one glass): Energy - 303kJ ; Protein – 1.6g ; Carbs – 15.1g ; Fat – 0.3g ; Fibre 1.7g
