Chicken and Pineapple Kebabs

Ingredients
Kebabs
- 750g chicken fillet cut into cubes
- 1 pineapple, peeled and cut into cubes
- 1 Red pepper, cubed
- 1 Green Pepper, cubed
- 1 Red onion, cut into pieces
Marinade
- 5ml Fresh Ginger, crushed
- 5ml Chicken Spice
- 5ml mild Curry Powder
- 30ml Chutney
- 100ml Huletts Maple Syrup
- 50ml oil
- 25ml water
Method
- Mix marinade ingredients together and season to taste.
- Stir in the chicken cubes and marinate for 20 minutes.
- Thread cubes of chicken, pineapple and pepper onto wooden kebab sticks that have been soaked in water.
- Braai the Kebabs over hot coals for 3- 5 minutes per side until cooked through or oven bake at 180 c for 15 – 20 minutes or until cooked through.
- You can also grill under a hot grill turning regularly.
- Use marinade to baste the kebabs while cooking.
