Gluten-Free Vegan Doughnuts

Our Gluten-free Vegan Doughnuts, with Huletts Erythritol, are a mouthwatering masterpiece.

Ingredients

Doughnuts

  • 200 g gluten free cake flour
  • 200 g Huletts Erythritol
  • 5 ml baking powder
  • 5 ml bicarbonate of soda
  • 80 ml coconut oil
  • 15 ml apple cider vinegar
  • 250 ml water
  • 5 ml vanilla essence

Ganache

  • 100 ml coconut cream
  • 300 g vegan white or dark chocolate
  • Dried rose petals or other edible flowers, to decorate

Method

The Doughnuts

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Sift the dry ingredients.
  3. Add the remainder of the ingredients and blend with a hand beater or food processor.
  4. Pipe the mixture into a greased doughnut tin.
  5. Bake for 15 - 20 minutes or until cooked.
  6. While the doughnuts are baking, make the ganache.

The Ganache

  1. Heat the coconut cream and stir in the chocolate until it has completely dissolved.
  2. Set the ganache aside for a few minutes to cool.
  3. Once the doughnuts have cooled, dip them in the ganache.
  4. Sprinkle with the dried rose petals before the ganache sets.

To quote the lyrics of a gospel song “Yesterday’s gone, sweet Jesus, and tomorrow may never be mine, please help me to live one day at time a time.” Today, I came across this beautiful post on Hulettssugar.co.za. I am excited after reading what it offers, and I see this post as a challenge for a new Lifestyle of healthy living. At age 74, and God willing(D. V.) will be 75 on 19 November, on this Brand New Day, with God’s help & strength, i’m taking up the challenge this post presents for a healthier lifestyle. Along with this challenge, I am embarking on an alternative health & herbal medicinal journey as well. On my medicinal journey, I will be using products made from our Mother Earth’s own medicinal supply, viz. “Moringa the Miracle Tree.” The leaves of MoringaThe Miracle Tree are what is used to make the medicinal products. I am hoping that by the end of my Birthday Month, my aching joints and inflamed body, causing severe body ache, will be no more. Hopefully with some walking and stretch exercises, as well as other exercises for diagnosed Osteoarthritis which impairs my mobility, hence I use a Cane. But also my 3x stiff toes on my left foot will be a thing of the past. I’m loving that Huletts Sugar is a proudly South African Brand. But, more importantly, that they also cater for those seeking a healthier Lifestyle. The choice though, they leave to us. Democracy at its best❣️.
